Summer is here. Some exciting projects ahead!
Thank you for your trust.
Ova stayed in the same hostel as Amanda (convenient, I know) and me. When it poured for two days we shared warm conversations in the kitchen and when the rain clouds left we spent a day snorkeling in the ocean. We swam around nurse sharks, sting rays, turtles, lots of grouper fish, green eels, withering coral and kicked each other’s faces a little. There wasn’t anything dangerous or out of the ordinary about the trip but it was a nice pause. Ova continued to San Ignacio. I sent her this picture telling her how much I liked it. Although she couldn’t agree, it’s still one of my favorites.
After a few minutes of following a little tan lamb I looked up into a coconut tree and saw this man. I smiled and motioned to photograph him and he nodded. I pressed the flash button, turned my hand clockwise, winced an eye and then smiled again before leaving.
A month ago I left for a little visit to the Yucatan Peninsula.

Ayah, the past couple of months have been so full. Thanks to the ever-talented Carmen Chan I’ve been getting more photo jobs. Gratitude, gratitude.

Here are some of my favorites from the 20th Anniversary celebration of HK’s Schoeni Gallery. Three galleries, two nights, and too many photos to choose from!
